PHILIP MOULTHROP

Bio
PHILIP MOULTHROP

Trained as a lawyer, Philip Moulthrop has followed in his father Ed's footsteps with museum caliber wood turning. "I think of my wood turning as a way to reveal the beauty and texture which is found in the wood. The wood I use comes from trees which are native to the Southeastern United States. These are not considered to be exotic woods; however, they possess a richness in the grain and figure which is too often overlooked."
