Lisa Pedolsky is a ceramics artist living in Southwest Colorado. She studied studio art at California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland with a focus in ceramics, and received her BA with a major in art from University of California, Berkeley in 1977. During a twenty year hiatus from ceramics her focus turned to book arts and mixed media art. She returned to her ceramics practice as a full time pursuit in 1999.

Pedolsky’s professional experience includes representation by galleries and exhibitions across the country. She has taught workshops nationwide and was artist in residence at Centro de Arte Curaumilla, Chile, funded by NCECA’s international residency program. Numerous publications have featured her work including Studio Potter, Pottery Making Illustrated, Ceramics Monthly and Lark Books' 500 Vases. Her work is in the permanent collections of Everson Museum of Art (Syracuse, NY), The Rosenfield Collection, San Juan College (Farmington, NM) and Centro de Arte Curaumilla (Chile).

"Innovative design and fine craftsmanship are my driving forces, often influenced by traditional craft and textiles from Japan and across the African Continent, as well as  mid-century modern design. I see my work as a marriage between my training in fine art and a commitment to fine craft and the functional form.”
