During his twenty-seven year tenure teaching in New Orleans, Stevens spent productive summers immersed in the mountains of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.  This exhibition presents an overview of Stevens’ landscapes, many of which have not been exhibited before, in varying degrees of abstraction and representation, along with a group of non-objective work.  Presented with pottery by three contemporary regional ceramists.
