COVID - 19 Dialect

As artists are sheltering in their homes and studios, this is an opportune time to focus on making. Artists' language is visual and many are creating work - whether intentionally or unintentionally - which responds to our current global crisis centered around COVID-19, including at-risk or failing systems in health, government, education and the economy. Others, too, are realizing the more positive and perhaps lasting impact this crisis is having on families, communities, the environment, health and well-being, and our relationship with technology. This ongoing exhibition serves as an outlet for the Blue Spiral 1 family of artists to explore our current reality along with the struggle and beauty that it brings.

Gallery proceeds for this show are going to the Artist Relief Fund, an initiative to provide grants and information to artists struggling through the COVID-19 crisis.
