This group exhibition is a celebration of both historical artists and art movements, and how contemporary makers pay homage to them. Artists skillfully explore pastiche art to which they blend the imagery or style of past works with their own. Visitors will see a nod to David Hockney's double portrait series, fiber inspired by Mondrian and Kandinsky, soft sculptures rendered in the style of Claes Oldenburg, and clay vessels that reference 17th century Colonial American ceramic history.
