October 10 - December 29, 2013
Elizabeth Barton has focused on a few particular themes: building and cityscapes (She came from a medieval city and this is what she saw as a child); industrial landscapes (her first job was in a chocolate factory and she loved walking through this amazingly weird cathedral dedicated to the cocoa bean); black and white curve (She always loved woodcuts, they are sensuous and nostalgic); and landscapes (She loves space, light, sky, distance).
This exhibit is sponsored by the Fidalgo Island Quilters
