The eight artists in Beyond Natural are obsessed with nature and the environment. Furthermore, they look past the ingrained cultural mythology of redemption and beauty in nature as its sole aesthetic purpose. Instead, these artists delve into and deconstruct nature, landscape, and botanical forms in all of their chaos, growth, human cultivation, decorative aspects, and fantastic artificiality. Through their artworks, these eight artists explore the constantly changing role of human to nature as well as our immeasurable impact on the landscape and the environment.
